Wedding dress for wedding site

Wedding dress for wedding site

After finding out your inner bride and having your modest wedding gowns in mind, another thing has to be considered: the formality of your ceremony and the features of the site. While every bride and groom should feel free to choose the wedding dress designers of their dreams, their attire should also reflect the time and place of their nuptials. A formal candlelit ceremony is not the time for a bride to be sporting a short sundress, the groom a morning coat and ascot. Nor is an afternoon garden party the place to break out the cathedral-length veil, top hat, and tails. If your wedding is outdoors in a breathtaking locale, choose an equally romantic look for your ceremony -- say, a flirty ankle-length designer wedding gown with embroidered leaves and vines. Likewise, if your party is planned in a proper reception hall, consider more classic to-be-wed ensembles that mimic the mood, or celebrate your inner cool cattiness with a sleek asymmetric gown and a monochromatic look for the groom. Go for drama in a theater environ with a vintage tux and over-the-top gown. And embrace the setting at a vintage wedding dress with a two-piece dress, a pair of sheer flowing pants or a daring white bikini; has your groom don a Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks.

Wedding dress for your inner bride

Wedding dress for your inner bride

Before you choose your wedding dresses online, some image for your very cheap wedding gowns should be first in mind. You're finally ready to walk down the aisle; you're not quite sure what type of bride you'd like to be. Should you go with a traditional look? A modern one? Or are you more of a bohemian? Now follow us, find your inner bride!

Before you start shopping for your couture wedding gowns, take a minute to close your eyes and envision yourself as a bride. What do you see? Are you wearing a full ball gown with your hair in romantic ringlets? Or are you outfitted in an ethereal, flowing dress, with loose hair sprinkled with flowers? Write down six adjectives that best describe how you want to look and feel on your wedding day, such as summery, traditional, princess, sexy, sophisticated, over-the-top. Then have your groom do the same and compare notes. If you're thinking full royal regalia and he's thinking beach wedding and Bermudas, you may have your work cut out for you. Try using a religious custom, an aspect of the way you met, or something near and dear to your hearts -- swing dancing, horseback riding, and the '20s -- to set the mood instead.

Whether your motivation comes from the "something old, something new..." tradition, or the "I'm-going-to-do-this-MY-way" credo, bridal accessories are the easiest way to add a few unexpected touches of personal style to your look.

Wedding dress for hourglass shape

Wedding dress for hourglass shape

What is an hourglass shape? That means you have a big chest, big hips, and a thin waist (that is, curves in all the right places). Every shape has its own type of wedding gowns dresses? And what's the style for this?

An A-line bridal wedding dress with a dropped waist will show off your figure; pair it with a sweetheart neckline to show off your chest. Or for something a little more curvaceous, try a fit-and-flare gothic wedding dresses like a mermaid or trumpet style.

Dress Don'ts: A destination wedding dress or Empire-waist silhouette may make you look disproportioned. So stay away from it!

Mother of the bride dress— choosing the style

Mother of the bride dress— choosing the style

On one's wedding, the most sensitive role is the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom, when they step on the blanket or make a speech at the reception, there will always be the eyes to catch them, and so the dresses for mother of the bride are also very important. Do not always be the guide for your daughter or son, until the bride has chosen her wedding gowns and the bridesmaid dresses - it is time for you to start your shopping for your plus size mother of the bride dress  as well. However, how to start?

Talk to the bride. Get a sense of her vision for the day. Think of the wedding as a big production - you have one of the leading roles. Find out from the bride (the director) how to dress your part.

A good idea is to have the bride send you magazine pictures to get an idea of what style she has in mind. If she'd like you to wear a mother of the bride dress style you're not happy wearing, let her know and do your best to compromise. It's her day, but you have to feel comfortable.

Then bring these suggestions to begin your shopping for the plus size mother of the bride dresses, you will work well, go for it.

Mother of the bride dress—find your hue

Mother of the bride dress—find your hue

Having decided the style, the second matter being focused on is the color of your cheap mother of the bride dresses. Decide what color you want to wear. Start looking with several color preferences in mind - but stay away from white, cream or ivory (you don't want to look like you're trying to steal the spotlight). Moms will also want to rule out black - that whole mourning thing. The best mother of the brides dresses compliment the mom's coloring and don't clash with the wedding colors (no, the dress doesn't have to match the bridesmaids'). The Mother of the Bride should consult with the Mother of the Groom when she's selected her dress, informing her of color and formality. The groom's mother doesn't have to buy something in the same shade, but it should echo the skirt and sleeve length with the mother of the bride dresses.

Tips to choose your bridesmaids dresses- style

Tips to choose your bridesmaids dresses- style

Modest bridesmaid dresses style is another problem annoying the bride, each bridesmaid has her own figure and height, usually you could not order the same size for all your brides and you even have to consider flattering all your women's figures. How to balance that?

Consider body types -- if one maid is voluptuous, another's rail-thin and yet another is tiny and boyish, you can't wedge them all into something skin-tight or cleavage-revealing. Very few figures are flattered by a big old contrasting-color bow on the butt or hundreds of tiny, ballooning pleats. Simple, elegant designs are the most flattering to all figures.

Consider dress length: Formal and semiformal weddings call for long, ballerina-length, or tea-length dresses. At an informal or daytime wedding, your cheap bridesmaid dresses or junior bridesmaid dresses can be the same length as the bride's dress, short or long.

Consider letting your bridesmaids wear clothing of their own choice. What you lose in uniformity will be made up for in comfort and happiness, which will be apparent in the way they carry themselves and smile. A variation on this theme is to let them wear dresses of their own choosing as long as they are a certain color.

All in all, make your discount bridesmaid dresses online fitted for all your women that are the goal.

Tips to choose your bridesmaids dresses- color

Tips to choose your bridesmaids dresses- color

Everyone knows that the bridesmaids play a more important part through the whole wedding; therefore, their attires progressively become a more complex problem for the bride to choose inexpensive bridesmaid dresses for all their women, which both should show harmony and zeal. What should be done for this? Tip one - color.

Try to find a color that is flattering to the different sizes and skin tones of your bridesmaids, that is very important to consider the skin tones of your women, some colors are not suitable for dark skin ones and you need to make an advisement comprehensively. A tip to this, you do not need to choose the same color for your entire bridesmaid, some closest colors are also available.

Don't put everyone in sea foam green, sweetie. Perhaps you have your colors of plus size bridesmaid dresses in mind, but are these really colors you would ask your friends to wrap themselves in? Be careful about colors that rarely occur in nature, or only on football uniforms. Remember, some colors are truly neutral -- navy blue and even black are good choices for formal weddings.

Choosing the discount bridesmaid dresses color, your women have the right to decide, negotiate with them and then your wedding is not only your day but also theirs.

Wedding dress for Pear Shape

Wedding dress for Pear Shape

Pear Shape, as the name suggests, just like the fruit, small on top and heavy on the bottom. What cheap wedding gowns will be the most suitable one?

A basque waist or strapless wedding dresses informal  will cover your bottom half and put the focus on your better half; an Empire bridal dress will hug the tiniest part of your body and disguise your lower half. Try to stay away with a sheath, frankly, that will be unflattering. A trumpet- or mermaid-style gown will draw attention to your bottom.

Whatever the plus size wedding gowns style you choose, the key is to make the centerpiece to be your better part, and avoid the weakness.

Considering you waist when choosing your wedding gown

Considering you waist when choosing your wedding gown

Waist is an important part of your cheap wedding dresses, every bride wants to make herself seems in smaller size than they actually be, and how to determine the most flattering shape for your waist?

Short Waist

Your body is naturally proportioned, except for the small distance from your ribs to your hips.

Dress Dos: A Princess-line silhouette -- fitted at the bodice and opening up gradually to a full skirt -- elegantly elongates your figure; if you love your shoulders, try a portrait or halter neckline. Slightly dropped-waist modest wedding gowns will also lengthen your torso.

Dress Don'ts: A sheath will make your short waist more obvious.

Thick Waist

Same as above, but instead of a short waist, yours is undefined: The line from your shoulders to your hips is straight.

Keep in mind that while your weight may fluctuate between the times you buy your inexperience bridal gown and the day of your wedding, your actual body type will remain the same. So even if you're planning to drop 20 pounds before exchanging vows choose the right plus size wedding dress that fits your body type today.

Dress Dos: An Empire-waist gown will deemphasize your waistline and give you a long, lean look.

Dress Don'ts: A Princess-line or Basque waist will draw too much attention to your middle.

Having found the best one for you? Choosing the exact cheap wedding gowns not only will you be more comfortable on your wedding day, you'll also look and feel more beautiful than you ever expected.

Wedding dress for thin figure

Wedding dress for thin figure

A perfect figure does not mean you are thin, but a slim curve. Short or tall, there's not a whole lot of meat on your bones. You boast that certain kind of ballerina beauty. So what style of Victorian wedding gowns you should choose in order to show that you are in perfect curve, not only thin?

The answer is almost all silhouettes of designer bridal gowns will flatter your figure, but a ball gown will make you look like a fairy-tale princess, and a sheath would be the most perfect for you. Stay away from portrait, off-the-shoulder, or halter necklines of the medieval wedding gowns, if your collarbone is too bony, if that, your thin collarbone will be the centerpiece, but not you!

A Tip to select wedding dress color

A Tip to select wedding dress color

So many articles for choosing you wedding color, indicates its importance for your discount bridal gowns. When shopping around different wedding website, or trying on different sales wedding gowns in a bridal salon, keep in mind that the samples may be dirty -- so while the fabric is "white," it may appear a shade off from its actual color and therefore will look more flattering new than the sample looks against your skin. Here's a tip: Be sure to ask for a clean fabric swatch to place near your face before making your final decision. And also some different kinds of white are listed for a reference.

Stark White
The brightest, crispest white you can find. Look great on dark skin.

Silk, Diamond, or Natural White
a shade off of stark white, though it looks pretty much the same in photos. As a general rule, most people look best in a soft, diamond-white plus size wedding gown, which isn't as chalky as a white-white one.

Ivory
Also referred to as "eggshell" or "candlelight." Some ivory lace wedding dresses have yellow undertones, making them look creamy; some are just a "quiet" white.

Rum or Champagne
A white with pink undertones that looks nearly white in photos.

Will this be a great help for you? I hope so!

Wedding Gown: Sleeve Glossary

Wedding Gown: Sleeve Glossary

Having been worried about your wedding day because your biceps are a little strong more than normal? Stop stressing and arm yourself with our guide to flattering sleeve styles. You'll be baring them with confidence in no time.

T-Shirt Sleeves

As the name indicates, these sleeves look like those on your favorite T-shirt -- a good plus size casual wedding dresses option for brides who want to cover their upper arms but don't want to go all the way (long sleeves). If you're self-conscious about baring your triceps/biceps, this option may be for you.

Cap Sleeves

Shorter than a T-shirt sleeve, more rounded and therefore a little more baring. Best on women with fairly slender or well-toned upper arms.

Knot note

Keep in mind that many wedding dresses online are also available with illusion (sheer) sleeves, which will make you feel covered up, though you won't necessarily look it.

Off-the-Shoulder Sleeves

These sleeves cover the upper part of the arms while leaving the tops of the shoulders and décolletages exposed. This vintage wedding gowns style flatters lots of women -- big- and small-busted brides alike. And the sleeves cover enough of the upper arm to make almost anyone comfortable.

3/4-Length Sleeves

Ending midway between the elbow and the wrist, this sleeve style has a classic, ladylike feel. It's an elegant look in bridal -- cool, yet covered!

Spaghetti Straps

Skinny straps with no sleeves attached. This style is reserved for those who are genetically blessed, spend lots of time pumping iron, or just want to look sexy in her designer wedding dresses! If you're the least bit arm-shy, consider pairing this look with a wrap.

Have you now been an expert on the sleeves? Have you already chosen the best one for yourself? Now, go ahead!

How to wear your wedding hair

How to wear your wedding hair

After having your informal plus size wedding dresses, some other preparations for your wedding should be made, and how to make your hair?
Consider the style that makes you feel most confident and let your preference guide you. Wear your hair up if your wedding gowns dresses have neckline or bodice you want to highlight. Long flowing locks create an air of romance and up-do evokes a sleek, sophisticated look. Schedule a pre-wedding hair "trial" to see how which hairstyles look best with your veil and tiara or other headpiece matching with your couture wedding dresses . If you plan to remove your veil after the ceremony, select a style that allows for a quick and easy transformation.

Key to this is to make you comfortable, flowing, and easy or anything to make you the centerpiece.

Wedding dress Style Dos + Don'ts---wedding style

Wedding dress Style Dos + Don'ts---wedding style

Here's how to find a destination wedding dresses that fits your wedding style perfectly.

You've decided on your wedding style, but now you're having trouble finding the perfect gown. Follow these basic dos and don'ts to make sure the most affordable wedding gowns you'll ever wear reflects your personal style.

Do: Tie your look to your wedding location. If you're having a traditional ceremony with a formal reception, opt for a classic, timeless bridal dress (like an A-line or ball gown with a square neckline). Getting married outdoors in an afternoon garden ceremony? Consider a strapless sheath made of a light material like silk gazer. If you're marrying in the sand on an exotic island, a flirty tea-length gown with festive shoes (or even barefoot!) is the ultimate nontraditional wedding attire.

Do let your personality show through accessories, but don't let your jewelry overpower your ensemble.

Don't: Let your wedding style dash your dreams of the perfect gown. If you have your heart set on fun, Victorian wedding dresses but you're worried it's not appropriate for your ceremony site, consider carrying a sash for a more demure look during your ceremony.

Choosing the Right White wedding dress

Choosing the Right White wedding dress

More colors have emerged in the wedding ceremony, though white is the traditional color for the bridal wedding dress, more and more brides begin to realize that not all of them are suitable for pure white because of the kinetic.. Shade of white is progressively popular with the brides. Don't know the difference between stark, egg shell and candlelight? Don't know what shade of white you can choose? Our guide will help you get your whites.

Off-white. Stark white. Bright white. And what the heck is eggshell? Choosing a shade of white for your discount wedding dresses has become almost as difficult as choosing the wedding dresses itself. Here's everything you need to know to get the right white.

The Shades

Don't even think about hitting the wedding websites without a crash course in hue review:

The Selection

The key to finding your shade? Knowing your skin tone.

If your skin is fair, you'll look best in yellow-ivories sales wedding dress. You should probably steer clear of stark white, though -- it may wash you out.

If your skin is medium with pink undertones, opt for creamier colors.

If your skin is medium with yellow undertones, try diamond white or champagne.

If your skin is dark, lucky you -- most shades of white will complement your skin. If you have yellow or olive undertones, though, stay away from yellow-ivory vintage wedding dresses. Try stark white or rum pink.

Only a few listed above but enough for you to choose. Choosing the right white and get the perfect performance.

Length of your cheap wedding dress

Length of your cheap wedding dress

Length of your inexpensive wedding dress shall be another confusing problem for the brides. Don't know what length you want your affordable bridal gown to be? Here's the long and short if it.

Choosing your discount wedding dresses length may seem like a no-brainer. But unless you know the difference between ballerina tea-length and a mini, you better read on.

Ankle-length: We'll start you off with an easy one. The ankle-length gown is hemmed -- you guessed it -- right at the ankles. A nice semi-formal option that can be either full or form fitting.
Ballerina: Again, like the name implies, the Ballerina features a full skirt (think tutu) that reaches just above the ankles. Very fun and flirty -- great for an outdoor wedding.

Floor-length: The hem on these cheap wedding dresses just barely touches the floor on all sides. A wonderful formal look that works well on both straight and full styles.

Intermission: This hem falls anywhere between the knee and the ankle. Perfect for a semi-formal or more casual affair -- and we just love saying the name!

Hi-Lo: A variation of the Intermission, the Hi-Lo features an Intermission hem on the front, and a floor length (or longer) hem in the back. Popular wedding dresses style for bridesmaids (and again, love that name thing!).

Knee-length: Another great look for maids or a casual bride, this style of skirt ends just below the knee.

Miniskirt: For the super sassy bride -- a skirt that ends well above the knee.

Tea-length: A summer bridal gown hemmed to end at the shin; it's conservative, but chic.

Simply introduced the styles of the length, have you ever been familiar with them now?

Wedding dress silhouette

Wedding dress silhouette

Going with your cheap wedding dresses shopping, some inexpensive wedding gowns styles may make you confused. Then what is the difference between the princess, A-line, ball gown, and sheath silhouettes etc.? Let me answer you.

Princess and A-line bridal gowns are virtually the same silhouette. Both have side seams that run vertically from the shoulder to the hem. A-line and princess shapes tend to be the most figure-friendly. Ball gowns are the most traditional discount wedding dress silhouettes. The bodice is fitted through the waist with a full skirt -- think Cinderella (before midnight!). Slim, body-hugging shapes typify sheaths. And, yes, they are always form-fitting. The mermaid silhouette is similar to the sheath in that it is form-fitting, but the skirt flares out below the knee. And the one you forgot: the empire silhouette. It has a high waistline that sits right below the bust from which a slender skirt falls.

Listed above are the Indian wedding dress styles we are familiar with, I am sure now you are clear about them all.

Black-and-white wedding gown for an older bride

Black-and-white wedding gown for an older bride

Marriage will be one of the most important things in one's life. No matter you are young or old. The color of the wedding dress will always be an annoying problem for the brides who are old. They do think more attention and comments will be attracted to the cheap bridal gown they wear. Though we do always persuade you guys not to care about others but wear your own color and gothic wedding dress, but there are still many ones choose the different colors from white. Someone may ask whether black-and-white is available?

In our opinion, the black-and-white designer wedding dresses sounds lovely and completely appropriate; after all, black is an evening color and white is for weddings. Most brides probably wouldn't choose to wear all black for their weddings, but you know what? If some do, more power to them. Remember that you are no longer bound to age-old rules of etiquette when it comes to your attire. The bottom line: Wear what makes you feel comfortable, attractive and the most "bridal." Also, white is not off limits simply because a woman has children. While it's true that white informal wedding gowns used to symbolize virginity, these days it's the color of celebration -- and you certainly have something to celebrate! Certainly, you have many other choices, do not limit yourself in one or two colors, all the colors of your simple wedding dress is available.

So color may not represents anything, on your own wedding, the feelings of you shall be the most important. Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

White wedding color is prepared for all of you

White wedding color is prepared for all of you

White is a traditional bridal gowns color for all the brides, once you want to get married, the first wedding color we remember is white. As the time goes, white is no longer just represents white, but more for wedding joy. However, there are still more mothers who have the old idea that once their girls are no longer "pure" ones or even have children, they would have no right to wear wedding dresses any longer. The mothers may suggest their girls wearing some shade of white even though the girls dislike the color. Is that right?

Well, girls, pay attention, please. It depends on your complexion and your taste, not on your wedding location or whether you're a mother yourself. You and your mom should be aware that although white traditionally represented purity, these days it just symbolizes wedding joy, so you don't have to be "virginal" to wear an unusual wedding dress. If you look great in pure white, wear pure white.

Also keep in mind that you don't have to wear a shade of white or ivory informal wedding gowns if you dislike it or it's hard to find a good shade. Consider light pastel shades of pink, lavender, celadon, or robin's-egg blue. You have many choices as a bride; do not need to limit yourself in just white or shade.

All in all, every color is prepared for every bride, choose the one you like best and do not care others.

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- waistline

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- waistline

Waistline is another centerpiece on your destination wedding dresses. Technically, the waistline of the winter wedding dresses is the horizontal seam that joins the bodice and skirt. Along with the neckline and sleeves, the waistline works to add signature style to a particular silhouette. It's also the element responsible for bringing shape and balance to the wedding gown. For example, the elongated V-shape of a Basque waist is the perfect compliment to a full ball gown, while a natural waist on A-line simple wedding dresses will highlight the gentle curve of the design. The waistlines also dictate how a dress works on your figure. Dropped waists, which came to prominence during the flapper era, help create the illusion of a longer torso, while high empire-style waists are favored for their slimming properties.

If you want to choose a cheap wedding dress which could make you look in smaller size, waistline should be a part to consider!

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- Neckline

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- Neckline

You must have known the categories of the different kinds of necklines, which are also an essential part for you to care when to buy wedding dress. The neckline is very important for two reasons: Not only is it the part of the summer wedding dresses people notice first, but it's also the one that sets off the face. If a bride's face is a portrait, then her neckline is its frame. Some necklines -- the bateau, jewel and mandarin -- are designed to sit high on the neck and offer coverage. While others -- the portrait, sweetheart, and one-shoulder -- are defined by what they leave bare. The right neckline can add character to hawaiian wedding dresses , show off an accessory, or highlight a unique figure feature -- be it a long, graceful neck, daring décolletage, or a strong set of shoulders.

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- Silhouette

An Anatomy of your discount wedding gown- Silhouette

For many women, the price of wedding dresses online also constitutes their single largest clothing expenditure. And yet, few brides actually know what dress has to be paid great attention when they visit the wedding dress shop. So this is a lesson introducing the single part of the custom wedding dress for you the bride to understand your discount wedding dress clearly. First, silhouette.

Silhouette refers to the overall shape of a maternity wedding dress. It's the most essential element to assess, because a gown's shape is its bedrock -- and it's what sets the mood for your entire look. The fitted bodice and full bell-shaped skirt of the red wedding dress, for example, channels a Cinderella spirit, making it the perfect selection for the princess bride. The empire, on the other hand, is a softer style that evokes a period feel with its high, feminine waistline. More form-fitting styles like the sheath up the ante on wedding dress sex appeal, and are a sleek and stylish option for the modern bride.

How to take care of your wedding gown

How to take care of your wedding gown

Differ from the other dresses, maternity wedding dresses are more delicate and easy to be out of shape without special care. In this case, Mother knows best. "A vintage wedding dress is a very delicate garment, so it needs to be handled with the utmost care," points out Steven Sandman, of the Imperial Gown Restoration Company in Fairfax, Virginia. "This means having it cared for by an expert, who will use a special technique called hand-wet cleaning." During this method, the designer wedding dresses is immersed for a precise number of minutes in a bath of solvents tailored specifically to the fabric. While your neighborhood cleaners may be great at reviving workday wear, they may not be experienced with this process. "So if you take it to regular cleaners, you run the risk of subjecting your dress to the solvents used on everyday clothes. They're too harsh for your unique wedding dress," says Sandman. To find a qualified bridal cleaner, ask your salon or dress manufacturer for recommendations. Check out wedding dress shops like inweddingdress.com for additional information.

Why your dream wedding dress cost so much?

Why your dream wedding dress cost so much?

The informal wedding dresses have always been an important part of your wedding. You may usually find out that it is sometimes more expensive of your nontraditional wedding dresses than you think. Maybe it has no lace, no buttons, no bows, but it still cost much. Why?

The intricacy of a wedding dress design is just one of the many factors that contribute to its cost. For example, a perfectly plain sheath bridal gown may be far more expensive than an elaborately embroidered ball wedding gown simply because the sheath dress is made by a high-profile designer. Wedding gown material also varies greatly in quality and price; a fabric constructed of synthetic fibers is much less expensive than one made of real silk. Intricate beading or embroidery done by hand will cost a great deal more than if sewn by machine. Your couture wedding dress may seem expensive to you for what it's not -- but look closer and you'll likely find out that the material is top notch, the seams lay perfectly flat, and it drapes just so...perfectly!

So wedding dresses style might not be the main factor to its cost. Fabric, whether done by hand or something else could also contribute to its value. Pick the right one you that are OK!

Neckline choice for your wedding dress

Neckline choice for your wedding dress

Neckline is also an important part of your wedding dress. V-neckline, sweet-heart one or a square neckline etc... So many choices for different figures. And if one bride is a large-cheated one maybe C-cup, which style of neckline would perform best?

Believe it or not, a low-cut neckline on a Discount wedding dresses best flatters large-cheated brides. That doesn't mean you'll have to risk a wardrobe malfunction either! Consider scoop necks (square or oval) or sweetheart bodices (heart-shaped in front). These will accentuate your shoulders and collarbone, and beautifully frame your chest. A higher neckline such as a jewel neckline (similar to that on a typical T-shirt) actually accentuates, rather than downplays, large breasts. If all else fails, take a cue from the types of tops you feel most comfortable in.

The perfect part makes up the casual wedding dresses, and definitely a perfect wedding day. Actually, chest is just one of the factors for you to choose the neckline, your facial form, shoulder hectare also the factors. Choose the most suitable one for you, just for finery.

All colors are available for your bridal gown

All colors are available for your bridal gown

In the modern wedding ceremony, more and more brides wear not only modern wedding dress as the traditional color but also some more color choices. That means white is no longer the only wedding color for the brides no matter what is your wedding ceremony like, formal or informal! Designer wedding dresses can be just considered as a given, but it doesn't have to be. We asked Carol McD. Wallace, author of All Dressed in White: the Irresistible Rise of the American Wedding (Penguin Original, 2004), for a quick history lesson. She advises that we don't need to worry about following in the tradition of Queen Victoria. "The white informal wedding gowns for every bride are really a post-World War II phenomenon. Before that, lots of girls would invest in a simple wedding dress they could wear again," she says. "In pioneer America, that often meant black, brightened up with some white lace or artificial orange blossoms; during World War II, brides often wore a pretty suit with a corsage." Wallace also believes that you shouldn't worry too much about the symbolic value of white." Lots of virgin brides have worn colors and we see lots of brides with children wearing white, so I think the color issue is up for grabs. If you feel fabulous in green or any other colors, then go for it!" We wholeheartedly agree, and so do gown designers! Big names like Amsale and Ely Saab have been sending bolder and brighter hues down the runway in recent years, so don't be surprised if you see more brides coming over to color in the future.

Discount wedding dresses and dream wedding colors, which will build up a whole perfect wedding for you. Ivory, champagne and green etc, if you like, either is OK!

Shopping wedding dress for you, not weight!

Shopping wedding dress for you, not weight!

Keeping a good figure on the wedding day is the dream of all the brides, even though some of them may now in a plus size. Losing weight might be of great urgency for those brides. However, the problem is that they may feel pressured to get their affordable bridal gowns soon (because of the three to four months it takes for one to come in). Whether to have to buy a size that fits your figure now or get a style that would flatter your figure after you lose weight?

Undoubtedly, it is right that it does take a while for Demetrio's bridal gowns to arrive in the store once it's ordered. So if you want to go that route, you should start thinking about buying colorful wedding gowns as soon as possible (you'll need time for alterations too). Of course your other option is to wait until a month before the wedding and to buy discount bridal gowns online off the rack at one of those discount stores or at a department store, but then you risk not finding the designer wedding dresses you really want.

To address a larger concern though, making your wedding date the deadline to lose a certain number of pounds may not be the best idea. That just puts extra pressure on you during the already stressful planning period. You shouldn't stop eating healthfully and exercising. But keep in mind the fact that you're marrying the man you love, and he loves you for you -- not for your weight! Simply decide whether you want inexpensive wedding dresses that are going to take a few months to order, or you're comfortable waiting until the eleventh hour.

It is definitely well to keep a perfect figure, but do not take that so important. You are the bride, not weight, right?

Wedding dress clashing

Wedding dress clashing

Everyone wants to have her dress only for herself; she does not expect to wear the same with others. Clothing clashing is really bad experience for any girls, especially for the brides. Just imagine when you choose the plus size wedding gowns with your friends, what shall you do? Ask her to find other cheap wedding gowns since she has not purchased hers yet? No, that is unreasonable.

This is your medieval wedding gowns, right? You've chosen to wear it to your wedding, one of the biggest events in your entire life. Your friend has fallen in love with that very same discount wedding gown and wants to wear it to one of the biggest events in her life. So who are you to tell her she can't? While your feelings are understandable, it's not okay to tell her she has to give up her dream just so yours will be the way you want it. Besides, you are two different women. This Victorian wedding gown is not going to look exactly the same on you. Each of you will look beautiful in it in your own way (different veils and flowers will also personalize the look). Let yourself and your friend off the hook about this -- it's not worth messing up your friendship. Instead, focus your energy on looking forward to your wedding!

Designer wedding gowns clashing are not horrible, only if you wear in your own style!

Your wedding dress, sell or keep?

Your wedding dress, sell or keep?

Wedding dress is a special dress which would be worn only once in one's life. After the wedding, they shall be kept as a keepsake. However, some brides think about selling their bridal gowns, because maybe it is no useful anymore or something else. How to go about doing this?

There are lots of ways to unload your modest wedding gown once the wedding is over. First, post your offer on The Knot Message Boards, describing your bridal dresses and a way for brides-to-be to get in touch with you. Or, contact some consignment shops or gown rental boutiques, who either sell the lace wedding dress for you and keep part of the profit, or who buy the gown directly from you (often at a much lower price than what you paid for it) for resale. Lastly, utilize the many auction web sites on the Internet (hello, eBay!) -- you can sell not only your wedding dresses, but any other wedding accessories you don't feel like hanging onto anymore!

Of course, keep your vintage wedding gowns is also a good choice. You are the hostess, and you have the right to decide!

Choosing the Right White wedding dress

Choosing the Right White wedding dress

More colors have emerged in the wedding ceremony, though white is the traditonal color for the informal wedding dresses, more and more brides begin to realize that not all of them are suitable for pure white because of the skin,etc.. Shade of white is progressively popular with the brides. Don't know the difference between stark, egg shell and candlelight?Don't know what shade of white you can choose? Our guide will help you get your whites.

Off-white. Stark white. Bright white. And what the heck is eggshell? Choosing a shade of white for your inexpensive wedding gown has become almost as difficult as choosing the discount wedding gown  itself. Here's everything you need to know to get the right white.

The Shades

Don't even think about hitting the plus size wedding dress shops without a crash course in hue review:

The Selection

The key to finding your shade? Knowing your skin tone.

If your skin is fair, you'll look best in yellow-ivories summer wedding dresses.

If you have yellow or olive undertones, though, stay away from yellow-ivory short wedding dresses. Try stark white or rum pink.

Only a few listed above but enough for you to choose. Choosing the right white and get the perfect performance.

wedding dress for full hips

wedding dress for full hips

Full hips with small waist, something needs to be mentioned that you need a discount bridal gowns which will draw attention to your top half and ignore your hips. A-line bridal dresses are flattering, but they're certainly not your only choice. Think proportion. Balance wide hips with an off-the-shoulder bodice or portrait collar. Both will bring the eye up and frame your face. Some appliqués or beading around the neckline will also draw attention to your top half. Just try to stay away from shiny satin cheap wedding dresses and forego the big butt bow!

No matter what figure you are, just stay away the part you do not feel satisfied and attracted more attention to the part you are honored, finding an affordable bridal gowns only for you!

Flattering Bridal gowns for Petite Brides

Flattering Bridal gowns for Petite Brides

Shorter-than-average brides have been wondered that whether there will be their sizes of cheap wedding dresses. Just be attention that simple wedding dresses will provide more choices for you.

Let's face it: When you're shorter, you have less area to cover and less fabric to work with. It's better to keep your expensive wedding gowns relatively uncluttered. Think simple details. Keep the beading and fullness to a minimum. Same goes for the veil: Shorter brides tend to get lost beneath poufy cathedral-length veils, so you may want to stick with the chapel- or elbow-length style.

Besides, gloves are not your best option. Since you are less-than-average height, you have to keep in mind that your arms are of less-than-average length. Wearing gloves will make them disappear! Stick to short sleeves with a slight scoop or V-neckline or bodices with off-the-shoulder necklines. Both do a nice job of covering the upper arms and minimizing a muscular upper body. To add the illusion of height, stick to sheaths or A-line lace wedding dresses with minimal fullness.

Finally, don't be worried about your height, to be in the exact discount wedding dress, you will also be the point.

Proper wedding dress, perfect curved figure

Proper wedding dress, perfect curved figure

Boyish figure is also an annoying problem for the brides in choosing wedding gowns, especially for those petite girls. How shall they start their short wedding dress ? Some choosing skills are given to help you find your cheap wedding gowns.

Stay away from big, pouf discount bridal gowns,. They definitely create curves, but such a big affordable bridal gowns, might seem like its wearing petite you! A slim sheath with a fuller overskirt or train is a better bet; it will give you just enough fullness to look curvy. If you would like a more traditional modest wedding gowns, look at A-line styles (they're also called princess gowns). Because they are seamless through the waist, they elongate the torso and skim over your hips in a super flattering way.

Such are only some advice. Come on, girls; show your curved figure on your wedding!

Suggestions for large-chested girl

Suggestions for large-chested girl

Large -chested sometimes becomes the problem for many brides during the time they are choosing their Discount wedding gowns. How to conceal their large-chest, some suggestions are given below:

First, be sure to find an uplifting foundation garment, or curtail your curves with a one-piece minimizer worn under your cheap wedding gowns that boasts a fitted bodice to emphasize your waist.

Second, a full skirt would also balance things out -- try it, you may like it after all! If not, look for an A-line, which is a good shape for just about everybody. Also look for a neckline in a V shape to help de-emphasize the obvious, or a sweetheart shape to compliment your figure. Avoid jewel necklines and empire waists, which will make you, appear even more busty.

Another, believe it or not, an off-the-shoulder bodice can be very flattering. If you're really self-conscious, you may wish to find a bridal gown with a matching bridal jacket; that way, even if the wedding dress displays a bit of cleavage, you'll still feel covered.

No matter what size you are, you will all find the most perfect wedding gowns for you!

Plus size wedding dress available for you!

Plus size wedding dress available for you!

Many girls didn't care about their figure until they get their weddings, and then they begin to realize that there won't be enough time to lose weight. So such a worry occurs that whether they can wear their dream vintage wedding gowns. It is absolutely OK. Look for plus size wedding dresses by designers like the Diamond Collection, Jasmine, Alfred Angelo, Jim Hjelm, and Sweetheart. These are just a few of the many designers whose lines include size 20 -- and some even go up to size 44. Therefore, you have more choices than you think. Just rest assured to get an informal wedding dress. However, if you are really a plus-size bride, some little suggestions should be given. At the moment, you have more important things to think than diet. From now on, you have to eat healthfully and exercise more. Being a healthy bride!

White is also a new beginning

White is also a new beginning

Some traditional ideas always consider that wedding dresses only can be worn by the virginity. Others have no right to put on such a holy color of the beach wedding dresses. That is really old-fashioned opinion. White, which symbolized purity, also represents new beginning. If you're "living in sin" (as the conservatives like to say) and want to wear white discount wedding dress, do it. Tell your mom that you've decided to recast the color's symbolic message to one of new beginnings: Your new life begins on your wedding day, and you begin that life with a clean slate. Do what you would like to do and wear what you love to wear.

Mom can also wear white

Mom can also wear white

Every girl or woman has her right to wear the wedding gowns at her wedding ceremony, no matter it is the first marriage or second. There always be someone discussing about what is appropriate and inappropriate, many second-marriage bride get puzzled by this. Just please consider that how much will you let other's opinion affect you?

Do not worried about your daughter, if she is too young to serve as a flower girl, you can also walk down the aisle with her (or carry her in your arms) and then hand her to your mother in the first row as you step up to meet your groom. She has the right to witness her mother wearing the summer wedding dresses as well. White now is not only for virginity, but more for joy and celebration. If you don't feel comfortable in an affordable wedding dress, go for a simpler wedding gowns, perhaps with a simple headpiece. Whether to wear a veil is up to you -- though the blusher (the veil that goes over a bride's face) is still considered the prerogative of first-timers.

Whatever kind of Discount wedding dresses you choose, only to remember you are the most beautiful bride.

Summer dress,you decide!

Summer dress,you decide!

In summer, outdoor wedding progressively become a fashion for many brides. Maybe there emerged a problem that someone wants to wear cheap wedding dresses for the outdoor wedding ceremony, but they are afraid whether are the casual wedding dresses suitable for the outdoor environment. How to decide?

Do not worry about that that is your wedding which could depend on your own desire. As long as your informal wedding gowns doesn't feature heavy, sparkly appliqués and a huge train, it will be fine for an outdoor summer wedding. You might not want to go for high-sheen satin, which might suggest evening more than daytime, but if it's a simple, unadorned, strapless satin modest wedding dress we're talking about, you'll probably be fine. With a little recommendation, maybe silk fabric will make you more comfortable in the hot summer.

Bargain silk, wary choice

Bargain silk, wary choice

Silk is considered as an expensive cost fabric. So some of the venders sometimes promotes a "bargain price" to attract the consumers. However I think you should avoid purchasing silk bedding sheets.WHY?

In the world of silk linen you truly do get what you pay for. If you spend $150 dollars (or the equivalent) on a bargain set of silk sheets for your king size bed, you will be getting a bargain set of silk sheets that is made from a lower quality silk and that likely also contains other non silk fibers in the weave. The bargain sheets will not hold up well over time and will be destined for the scrap heap in a short amount of time. It reminds me of a saying my Mom had which went like this, "If it looks like a bargain, feels like a bargain, and smells like a bargain, be very wary because it is probably no bargain at all."

There are typically only a few occasions where high quality silk bedding sheets will be reduced in price to the point of a being a real bargain. If a color or style is being discontinued manufacturers will discount the silk linen. There may also be periodic sales or special pricing if silk sheets, a silk comforter, and a silk duvet cover are all purchased at the same time.
Do not just fell in love with the price and forget the quality, buying inferior silk bedding indicates you will spend more a year later.

Choose the best wedding color for you only

Choose the best wedding color for you only

White, as we all know, stands for purity and holiness. It has also been the first choice for beach wedding dress. Ivory is also a beautiful color for the discount bridal gowns, so many brides cannot decide which to wear.
One thing needs to be mentioned that it is not suitable for every bride to wear white wedding gown, because it always looks best on women with darker skin tones. Don't think ivory is odd or something else, it is merely another shade of white.

All in all, believe that you will choose the best color for yourself, you like it and you wear it!

How to choose quality silk bed linen

How to choose quality silk bed linen

Finding quality can be a daunting taks. There is a vast amount of silk bed linen on the market today ranging hugely in both quality and price. Knowing what to look for can be a daunting task. Here are a few tips that if followed will ensure you buy a quality silk bedding product that will last for many years.

  1. Insist on 100% mulberry silk. There are many varieties of silk on the market. When purchasing silk bedding insist on 100% mulberry silk. Only 100% mulberry silk consists of a continuous strand of silk. Wild silk, commonly known as Habotai silk is often passed off as mulberry silk but is never of the same quality as mulberry silk. Habotai or China Silk as it is sometimes called is often made up of broken strands of silk and non-silk fibres and is more suited for silk scarves and items requiring shorter fibres. Habotai silk does not have the same durability as 100% mulberry silk. Only 100% mulberry silk can offer the consistency and durability required in quality silk bed linen.
  2. A thread count of 400 or more. When considering making a purchase of silk linen, always check the thread count. The higher the thread count, the tighter the silk is woven. An ideal thread count for silk linen is above 400. Anything lover than 400 will not be as durable and not last as fine silk linen should.
  3. Momme weight explained. You may have heard of momme when purchasing silk items. Momme is the gauge used to determine the physical weight of silk. The basic measurement for momme is weighing a piece of silk that is 100 yards long and 45 inches wide. If the total weight comes to sixteen pounds then the silk will be graded as 16 momme. If the silk is heavier then a higher momme grade will be given and visa versa. Silk with a lower momme number will have physically less silk in the item than one with a higher number. Your silk bedding should have a high momme number, at the very least above 12. Traditionally silk with a momme of fewer than 12 has been reserved for light silk clothing, while a momme of 12-19 is used for silk bedding. A momme of 22 would be durable enough for a tailored suit. Silk bedding with a momme of 19 will be more durable and easier to care for than a say a momme of 14.
  4. Beware of a false economy. Silk sheets and bedding sets are often offered at hugely discounted prices. Although at the time of purchase the price may seem a bargain, be sure the bedding meets the above criteria. If not, the bedding will not last like 100% mulberry silk bedding. When properly cared for 100% mulberry silk bedding with a momme weight of 19 and a thread count of 400 will far outlast cotton bedding and prove to be a sound investment.

When to wear shorter wedding dresses

When to wear shorter wedding dresses

Shorter informal wedding dresses, as the new designed style, are being noticed by more and more people. But in the modern wedding ceremony, most brides still want to cover up a bit more to be chic and trendy. That is because the new briefer modest bridesmaid dresses might not be the best choice for the dreaming princess-style ball gown. But many brides still show their love in the new-style. So when to wear?

As the time goes, more and more wedding ceremony shows the trend of informal and relax. Nearly every bride chooses more than two discount bridal gowns for their wedding. That is wonderful. Shorter summer wedding dresses will be a definitely good choice for you to be charming at your reception party. Guests will also surely appreciate the larruping aspect of the bride.

Silk bedding can also be of benefit in the following areas

Silk bedding can also be of benefit in the following areas

Osteoarthritis - Silk bedding and duvets drape over us, moulding around our bodies which eliminates single points of pressure. Conventional duvets and blankets do not drape over our bodies but rather from a heavier barrier that can cause pain and irritation to sensitive joints. Eliminating single points of pressure can greatly increase the quality and comfort of sleep.

Shingles - Significant relief from Shingles can be gained by using silk bedding. Silk being soft and light creates less pressure, this combined with tightly woven silk sheets enables easier movement and less resistance on the bed sheets. Silk filled duvets can also be of help to shingle sufferers as like silk top sheets, they drape over the body eliminating single points of contact.

Dry skin - Silk has an amazing ability to help our skin reabsorb moisture through the natural occurring amino acids within silk. Absorbing moisture that has been lost during the day while sleeping will aid in rejuvenating the skin throughout the night. This is hugely beneficial to sufferers of both Eczema and dry skin.

Overheating - Silk has the amazing ability to keep us cool when it's warm and warm when it's cool. It does this be allowing our body heat to dissipate. Conventional (down, feather and polyester) duvets work in a similar way to a pressure cooker. As we sleep our body heat is reflected back to us from the duvet and we are kept warm. This however continues to happen throughout the night which causes overheating. Long fibre mulberry silk duvets are manufactured using a layering grid technique which places layer upon layer of silk in a criss cross pattern. This design allows some of our body heat to escape through the duvet, leaving us warm but not hot. Being a more constant temperature throughout the night allows our bodies to have a more relaxing and rejuvenating sleep.

Silk bedding is the healthy option for you and your family

Silk bedding is the healthy option for you and your family

Naturally healthy silk bedding. Simply put, silk bedding is healthier for us than down, feather or synthetic bedding.

There are so many products on the market today that claim to be healthy and good for us - it's not always easy to separate the good from the bad. With silk it's a bit easier. Silk is a natural product, and being natural our bodies respond far better to silk than they do to synthetic products.

Silk is sympathetic to our bodies needs and works in conjunction with our bodies to help us get what we really want and need - contented, deep sleep.

The benefits of silk bedding to allergy sufferers. Allergy sufferers really can benefit from sleeping on and under silk bedding. The most common form of dust mite related allergy is Asthma and sneezing fits. This is mainly brought on by related issues from the droppings of dust mites. The enzymes released from the droppings are inhaled and an allergic reaction occurs.

Silk bedding is naturally hypoallergenic and is an environment dust mites find inhospitable. Using silk duvets and bedding can significantly help reduce the number of dust mites living in bedding. The reduction of dust mites can have a direct effect on the quality of sleep to those who suffer from dust mite related allergies. Here is what one of our customers sent us after purchasing several of our silk filled pillows.

Don’t rashly change your mind

Don’t rashly change your mind

Things will get better and better. That is always the problem for the brides. They always want to make their casual wedding dresses perfect. Sometimes some small changes will be made. When you get this decision, please check whether your simple wedding gown is a simple one or an elaborately constructed one.
If it was a simpler modest wedding dress, it may be easy to alter. If your affordable wedding dresses is a more complicated one, it will cost more money and labor to change, so do not easily make up your mind to alter. If you really persist in changing, it becomes more necessary to discuss well with your seamstress who will be angry to cut your vintage wedding dresses off.

Silk and its legendary discovery

Silk and its legendary discovery

It is almost impossible to say exactly when the production of silk began. Recent Chinese archaeological finds have uncovered carved ivory depictions of silk worms thought to be 6000 to 7000 years old.

According to legend, the Chinese princess Hsi Ling Shi claims the honour of discovering silk. Apparently she dropped a silk cocoon into her cup of tea, and when she removed it, the silk had unravelled into a single strand. It was from this one accident that the production of silk is supposed to have been born.

The Chinese carefully guarded the secrets of silk production (sericulture) for thousands of years. It was a capital offence to attempt to smuggle silk or reveal the secrets of its production outside of China. At one stage, silk was so highly regarded that silk clothes were the privilege of the Emperor alone. Silk had a major impact on Chinese foreign trade, and helped keep the Chinese dynasty afloat through thousands of years. As time wore on and the secrets of silk manufacture were passed from generation to generation, production methods improved and silk became a more widespread commodity in China. It is recorded that the secretes of sericulture had reached Korea by 200 BC and 100 years later silk was being produced in India.

Silk today Throughout the ages silk has been a valued commodity and today is no different. Although the volume has increased, the fundamentals of silk production have stayed largely the same. The natural properties of silk and its hypoallergenic qualities have been well documented and are becoming increasingly popular. Here at ellesilk.com we are proud to uphold the ancient tradition of the silk road, bringing the finest quality silk products we can find to our customers.

The late 1st and early 2nd Century BC saw the opening of the silk road, a route which stretched over 4000 miles through Asia and on to the Middle East. Silk was traded along this route and eventually found its way into Europe as a highly prized commodity, often considered to be more valuable than gold. It is recorded that Roman emperor Heliogabalus was the only Roman of his time to wear a garment made of pure silk. Marco Polo (1254-1324) was possibly the routes most famous traveller. He travelled through Mongolia and into China, finding the source of the silk road. It was after his return to Venice that European silk production began.

The Best Dresses choice for beach wedding

First of all, the dress you choose must be the perfect style that flatter for your figure, and then the details of the dress are also the important factors in your selections. For the beach, some lightweight and simple styles are better choices. In order to get some lightweight beach wedding dresses, light and airy fabrics as silk chiffon or organza will performe better. The casual wedding dress with heavy beading will weigh a dressing gown down,so that can be thrown off. the halter necklines will be part of the affordable wedding dress. Silk Varieties

Silk Varieties

There are literally hundreds of silk varieties of silk. A few have been listed on this page to help you identify which ones are good for bedding and which are not.

Charmeuse Silk

Possibly the most common silk, and definitely the best silk for bedding. Charmeuse silk has a shine to it along with a soft, flowing feel. Charmeuse silk is also used in high quality pyjamas and sometimes used in dresses and shirts.

Habutai

Habutai is the Japanese word for "downy and soft". Habutai silk is used widely in silk bedding and in and for the large part is very good. It is definitely a rung down from Charmeuse silk, but if you can find a momme number of 19 it's worth considering. warning on Habutai silk is some suppliers sand was the silk to make it even softer. This greatly reduces the durability of the linen. For this reason we do not recommend sand washed silks at all.

Dupioni Silk

Dupioni silk is a great silk that is made from two cocoons that have interwoven. When looking at the finished product the Dupioni silk can change colour and hues in the changing light. Dupioni silk is great for dying and has a slightly raised feel. Dupoini silk is more suited to clothing than bedding.

Wilk Silk

Wild silk is literally silk that has been harvested from the wild. The silk is of lesser quality and the cocoon cannot be unravelled in one continuous filament. This is because wild silk worms eat whatever is available to them and not premium mulberry leaves. Wild silk is often spun into garments, ties and linings. There is an ethical question about harvesting silk from the wild. Although the moth has continued it's life cycle harvesting silk from the wild is seriously damaging the populations of wild silk worms to the brink of extension.

Is silk or isn’t it organic?

Is silk or isn’t it organic?

To the best of our knowledge there are no organic suppliers of silk filled duvets in the china at the present time. Many suppliers may try to pass their duvets off as Organic but in actual fact they are natural, and not organic as no certification has been gained.

Many suppliers assume that because the silk for their duvets is harvested from mulberry trees, and the worms are raised on nothing but a diet of mulberry leaves their product is organic. Sadly this is a misconception and without certification, the products are certainly not organic. The easiest way to determine if the duvet or linen you are considering purchasing is organic is to ask the retailer for proof. If the products are organic they will have documentation to back up their claim and they will proudly display the soil association stamp of approval.

If you know of true organic silk duvets and silk bed linen supplied in the china. please get in touch.

Choosing the right flower girl dress and jewelry

Enter Text Here

When selecting your flower girl jewelry, consider the discount flower girl dresses style. Is her dress similar to the custom bridesmaid dresses? Is her dress the same color as the bridesmaids? If her dress is the same style and color as the brides dress, and the bride will be wearing pearls, then selecting a simpler style of pearl jewelry will look most appropriate. Many bridal salons do not carry flower girl jewelry, making it a bit difficult for the bride to check that task off of her list. Selecting the most beautiful flower girl jewelry that doesn't look all grown up and gaudy is very important. You don't want your flower girl looking overdone.

Whether you attempt to match up your Z jewelry with the bride's style of sales bridal jewelry or the bridesmaids, then select flower girl jewelry that is dainty and delicate. There are more and more online stores that are offering better selections of color and style for the flower girl; you just have to hunt for them a little bit. What you need to know about silk duvets—Silk casings

What you need to know about silk duvets—Silk casings

Enter Text Here

In an ideal world every silk duvet would have a silk casing. This however would price silk duvets out of the market. A quality silk casing on a silk duvet would in reality make silk duvets prohibitively expensive. There are silk duvets available that do have silk casings and compare favourably in price with cotton covered duvets. This at face value looks almost too good to be true, and sadly it usually is. Before you purchase a silk duvet with a silk casing you should ask what the momme of the silk casing is. Momme is the unit used to grade the quality of silk. Pfor a detailed explanation of this. A silk casing should have at leaset a momme rating of 19. Anything lower and you could encounter durability issues and herein lies the issue. What would initially seem a great price for a silk cased duvet could soon turn into something worthless with a hole in it. We are not saying don't buy silk cased silk duvets, but just be sure you know what you are getting before you make a purchase.

What you need to know about silk duvets—Duvet casing

What you need to know about silk duvets—Duvet casing

Enter Text Here

There is almost an endless choice for duvet casings. Cotton, silk, polyester etc.. Traditionally the Chinese used a very course threaded casing for their silk duvets. This was to allow body heat to escape through the casing and help in heat regulation. Today, largely due to modern manufacturing techniques a much tighter and finer casing can be woven which has similar properties. The choice of silk casing is largely down to individual preference, however there are a few points to consider.

Do I have to select the same dress for each bridesmaid?

Do I have to select the same dress for each bridesmaid?

The choice is up to you. Some brides like the tradition of matching Discount bridesmaid dresses. Increasingly popular is the modern look of mix and match bridesmaid dresses and/or separates. Not only will you create a chic bridal party look, but your bridesmaids will be happy! To maintain a coordinated wedding look, we suggest that the bride choose the color (or two complementary colors) and let each bridesmaid choose the dress or skirt and top combination that she likes best. Another option is to let your bridesmaids personalize their look with sashes, ribbons or other coordinated wedding accessories.

Tell you the wedding color of 2009

Tell you the wedding color of 2009

White, as we all  know, is the traditional color for a Wedding dress
But times they are a-changing; brides are  throwing caution to the wind by opting instead for more contemporary colors for  their special day.
Some of the popular wedding colors from 2007 and 2008, lilac with purple tones, and chocolate brown and soft  greens, may continue into 2009 though an explosion in fresher, brighter colors  is being predicted by all the experts.
Bright orange - Works well when  soft peach tones, introduce gerberas or tiger lilies into bridal bouquets and  floral centerpieces.
